THE TIGER & THE GUARDIAN, 1885 (aka “Le Tigre et le Gardien”) by renowned French master of Academicism artist Jean-Leon Gerome. It depicts a middle-eastern scene showing a large Bengal tiger sleeping by his guardian on an ornate oriental rug in an elaborate stone pavilion.
This is a giclee fine art print. Image size is 50.7 x 41.3 cm, the overall paper size with the border and title strip is 58.5 x 47.4 cm. The watermark will not show on the print.
